Lindsey Tramuta
Lindsey Tramuta, a French-American journalist and author, has been based in Paris since 2006. Since 2012, her work has appeared in T: The New York Times Style Magazine, the New York Times, Condé Nast Traveler, Fortune Magazine, Afar Magazine, Travel & Leisure, Eater, Bloomberg, Elle, and Vogue, among other international publications.
Her first book, The New Paris (Abrams, 2017), was the direct inspiration for this podcast and continues where the book left off. Some episodes are light, others are more serious in topic and tone. All include guest experts who discuss the timely (and timeless, for better or for worse) issues facing not only Paris but all of France: immigration, discrimination, urban development, women’s rights, and more.
Lindsey is also the author of The New Parisienne: the Women and Ideas Shaping Paris (Abrams, 2020), The Eater Guide to Paris (Abrams, 2025), and co-authored Arbiters of Style: the New Wave of French Interior Design (Phaidon, 2026).
